what is thehuggablehook?
thehuggablehook began life in 2025 as a result of a love for crochet, and a lack of space to store the creations!
we began selling at craft and artisan markets in october 2025 and the response was incredible, hearing instant feedback and seeing the joy in the faces of our customers is so fulfilling. selling at markets has ignited a passion for handmade goods and local yarn. fabric shops in our home city of york ignited a passion for local fibres and shopping small.
what started as a plushie business has quickly become a philosophy for us, a philosophy of avoiding mass production, slowing life down, and shopping small. our philosophy is reflected in all of our products, everything you see on our website is carefully handmade and of the highest quality.
we're committed to ensuring our products are created from the highest quality material. we use local wool, alpaca and mohair for our beanies, yarn imported from premier for our plushies, and high-quality premium cottons for everything else - our products will last for years to come.

are the sewn products high quality?
at the huggable hook we use premium cotton fabrics from brands such as tilda to ensure the exceptional quality of our products. using cottons which utilise long-staple cotton fibers ensures a silky smooth, yet incredibly durable product. we take pride in our high quality materials, which will stand the test of time.
how long does shipping take?
we work hard to dispatch orders as quickly as possible. we dispatch in 2-4 working days, delivery will be 2-3 days following dispatch.
where are products made?
all of our products are handmade in house in the uk, we also use locally sourced materials where possible - particularly in our beanies, take a look at the fibres listed in the description!
how much does shipping cost?
we offer free uk shipping on all orders above £30! outside of this, shipping costs vary depending on delivery address
can I cancel or change my order?
please refer to our return policy at the bottom of the page - if you have any questions or queries about your order, please email thehuggablehook@gmail.com and we can help! there are some products we are unable to accept returns on due to hygeine reasons (unless they arrive damaged or faulty).
